The Miami Dolphins placed tight end Darren Waller on injured reserve Wednesday with a pectoral strain.
Waller will miss at least the next four games for the Dolphins (1-6).
Also on Wednesday, Miami signed Greg Dulcich to the active roster off the practice squad and signed fellow tight end Chris Myarick to the practice squad.
Waller, 33, sustained his injury during Sunday’s 31-6 loss at Cleveland and did not catch a pass, ending his streak of three straight games with at least one touchdown.
After coming out of retirement, Waller caught 10 passes for 117 yards and four touchdowns in his first three games for Miami from Weeks 4-6.
A Pro Bowl selection with the Las Vegas Raiders in 2020, Waller has 360 catches for 4,241 yards and 24 scores in 90 games (64 starts) with the Baltimore Ravens (2015-16), Raiders (2018-22), New York Giants (2023) and Dolphins. He did not play during the 2024 season.
Dulcich, 25, had five catches for 28 yards in nine games last season split with the Denver Broncos (2022-24) and Giants (2024).
The UCLA product has 41 receptions for 464 yards and two touchdowns in 21 career games (10 starts) with the Broncos and Giants.
