The Indianapolis Colts activated linebacker Jaylon Carlies from injured reserve on Saturday.
The Colts (8-4) also elevated kicker Blake Grupe and defensive tackle Chris Wormley to the active roster from the practice squad ahead of their Sunday game against the host Jacksonville Jaguars (8-4).
Carlies, 24, had been on injured reserve since sustaining an ankle injury late in training camp.
He played in 10 games (six starts) as a rookie in 2024. He finished with 36 tackles, including two for loss, one pass defensed and a sack.
Grupe will replace fellow kicker Michael Badgley, who was released this week after last Sunday’s 20-16 loss to the Houston Texans.
Grupe, 27, was signed to the team’s practice squad on Wednesday.
He was released by the New Orleans Saints after missing two field goals during Sunday’s 24-10 loss to the Atlanta Falcons. He was 18 for 26 on field-goal tries this season.
Wormley, 32, has 152 tackles and 12 sacks in 88 career games (31 starts) with four NFL teams in his career.
