Jessica Korda is proud to be a “girl mom.”
The LPGA golfer and husband Johnny DelPrete recently announced the birth of their second child, Olivia Regina DelPrete. The middle name carries a special family significance as it honors Jessica’s mother, Regina Korda, a former tennis player and Olympian who represented Czechoslovakia at the 1988 Summer Games in Seoul.
“Mom is no longer outnumbered,” Korda wrote in her Instagram post.
Olivia joins Korda’s first child, Greyson John DelPrete, who was born in February 2024.
“AND IM A GIRL AUNTIE,” Nelly Korda wrote in the comments on Jessica’s post. “SHES A GIRL MOM”
Jessica Korda, 33, has won six times on the LPGA Tour. Her most recent victory was at the Diamond Resorts Tournament of Champions in January 2021.
