The Colorado Rockies promoted prized prospect Adael Amador from Double-A Hartford on Sunday and placed fellow infielder Brendan Rodgers on the 10-day injured list with a left hamstring strain.The move is retroactive to Saturday for Rodgers, who sustained the injury in Friday’s 8-5 loss to the St. Louis Cardinals.Ranked by MLB.com as the Rockies’ No. 1 prospect, Amador has yet to play in Triple-A let alone the majors.
